sad but true.....I saw something on a news forum about kids being unable to hold forks and other utensils with their fingers because they are no longer taught how to write with a pen or pencil........

USA the land of lazy weak willed and just plain weak kids........zombies come, they are all gonna be food

It’s a damn shame my nieces have no idea how to read/write in cursive. The neighbor kid can’t even do a pull up or push up it’s sickening to be that young an so out of shape.

one of my fathers old war buddies was in command of the 101st airborne here in Texas, he once told my father that the first 3-4 weeks of boot was all about teaching these kids how to run and breath when their heart rate went above 70........since PE and physical sports are no longer allowed in schools........sad, just sad..

    armchair warriors.....

That’s sad when I went thru circa 02 they called us PlayStation privates. Granted I was 18 an worked out like a madman prior there was young men who couldn’t even run a 1/2 mile, I was in shock.

I am told that obesity is an issue with new recruits also.........at 18-19 you should not be fat unless you have a medical issue like thyroid....
at 18 I was 155lbs and played defensive line.......and did not get a blue ribbon for "participation"........in fact we got berated and chastised when we lost.

at 40 I tested for 3 police departments in LA....ran a 1.5 mile in 12 flat.......some of the others were straight out of boot and couldn't break 14 min...
