@Don Vergas For reference I bought my 2013 about 10 months ago for 13,500. It had 98k on the clock and all maintenance accounted for. I’d try talking him down to 14ish given the maintenance constraints.

Awesome design-priming/painting took longer than the install. Having a shop and lift sure didn’t hurt, though. The last pic is the shop owners AMX that I got to share space with. Awesome. I had the same truck, color and all for my first Toyota and put the same sliders on it haha. Glad you like them and I wish we had a lift like that. We have a two post lift which interferes with slider install. Good for everything else though. The lift you used would interfere with skid plate install but we install waaaaaaaay more sliders than we do skids.

Even though the weather was pretty good-65 and partly cloudy-the lift beat the hell out of creepers and a driveway install! This set up is perfect for me, I usually only haul scuba gear and I don't need more cab room. The sliders are awesome! Now to figure out the next mods......

Just wanted to say hey in a thread I apply to.

Got this back in Feb. 2011 Single Cab 4x4 Base 5Speed with 45k for 15k. Came with the camper and some ATs.
Coming from the VW world this thing is more than awesome!

Got a roof rack and bed system designed, just waiting until after my wedding to get it all done.

Nice! I came from the VW world as well. I actually still have a B7 Passat but haven't started building it yet. Climbing mountains is more fun then scraping over speedbumps

My wife used to have a '97 Jetta VR6. Car ran smooth...when it ran. Seems like I was always fixing something on that car and had to buy a new special tool for it almost every time. I'm was happy when she finally decided to sell it.

My green Jetta made it to 210k miles before the electrical system fried, and I traded the rabbit for my reg cab Tacoma. Wife and I recently purchased a 2015 Passat TSI. Only had 6k miles so we were thrilled! Month later the cel came on for a bad o2 sensor... VW's are a pain in the ass but for some reason I have a soft spot for them

Does anyone in here know of a single cab with a roof rack? It would be for a single 150w panel and light bar. So not much weight

I can make a prinsu type rack all day, I just need a nice way to attach it to the cab. Not a plastic nut insert way

I’ve never popped the trim so I’m not sure if it has allowance for attachment. I do know there was never an OEM rack for RC

I just got a heavy duty clutch from Napa. It's made by Luk clutches, they had a standard duty in stock, but I wanted a heavy duty model so they ordered it, and toyota installed it for me free of charge while replacing a throw out bearing under warranty. It has stronger pressure plate and thicker material.

Members complaining about their stock clutch, in another thread, discovered after replacing that their’s was branded Luk (Mexico). The guys replacing worn, long life clutches reported theirs were Aisin. I replaced with an Aisin CKT-065, came with both bearings (Koyo) and the center tool for $187 off Amazon, it’s $155 now. I’m happy with it.
