Thought I already answered this. My GMG DB has a door on the back side of the hopper. You could DL the manual from their website. ;)

Back side of the hopper. If it's there you will see it. I have a small shop vac that is dedicated to pellet sucking. ;) Much faster and far easier. It get all pellets and fines out.

For almost a hundred years my mothers side of the family once retired moved to Haines City between Tampa and Orlando. Been seeing those orange groves since the late 60's that I can remember. Was stationed at least temporarily in Jax, Orlando and Pensacola. And we have a site at work in Jax they fly me down from time to time, but usually only in the summer :annoyed: I like the panhandle the best. Just so many people down there especially in the winter. Only a few more years to my second retirement and I will likely be one of them come Jan. Feb.

Really like Western North Carolina a lot though and moved to Mn. from WNC. Up to 82 here today and just about perfect, any warmer I'd be melting. Humidity is a lot lower here, but not as low as the other side of the Upper Missouri River. But no desire to live in the sagebrush sea either, prefer my landscape to be lousy with chlorophyll. And water.

Holy cow (pun intended) look at the price on that piece of Prime grade meat!! Vac seal and freeze as soon as I get home with it and then thaw Friday to cook on Saturday. I do that when I find those last day expiration meats too. Great catch!!

That's funny. We moved back to MI about 4 years ago and that was too many for my taste now lol. Where about did you live in both. I was in the New Tampa/Land O Lakes area in FL, I grew up in Macomb county and live there again right now.

I presume you would then know where Pasco County is...?? Yea, thats where I patrolled... Ive lived in Valrico, Wesley Chapel, LOL, (not the laughing lol), and San Antonio. (I was a city commissioner and vice mayor of San Ann for a few years).

I enjoyed it while I lived there. I left in 2004. Husband and I went to FL to visit friends and family Nov. of 2016. We can both say its not a place we'd want to live/go back to.

My moms husband is from Macomb Co. I briefly lived in Saginaw (toddler age) and did all my schooling Downriver- lived in Woodhaven, hung with the Trenton, Wyandotte, Flat Rock crowd. Just last week while on vacation on the coast of Oregon, I ran into a guy who lived in Trenton about the same time I did...

My wife was born and raised in P-Cola, they started moving a lot with her dads job but always stayed close to FL. We talked about moving there but her parents are in Citrus County now so that's where we will end up. We are looking for 5-10 acres to build on.

What a small world it is. :)

Ya I lived in Pasco county for a long time, bought my Tacoma from Wesley Chapel Toyota (as well as a couple other cars). I wanted to move to Panhandle but my wife wanted to be close to her parents. We are also looking for a cabin in Whittier NC so we can go there for some cooler weather lol.

Also in the 'small world' department... my neighbor (who also works for my husbands division) is from LOL. His daughter went to LOL high school. She owns the local gym that I go to, but I didn't know that when I signed up!

Here’s my question. So usually after cooking my brisket, while it’s still wrapped in butcher paper or foil, I let it rest in the cooler.

I’ve seen others wrap the brisket in foil or butcher paper plus towel then back in the cooler. So what does the towel really do ?

Takes up air space, adds additional insulation to hold the temperature. At least that's what I think.
