I'm running 34s now with plate bumper, winch, steel skid, rtt, and sliders on stock gears. It's not as bad as people think. However going up hills on highway travel....:annoyed:

This is the reason I did gears. Hills on highways was rough.

In a bizarre move, Toyota gave the 4 banger 6AT (but not the 5MT) 4.3 gears.

I’m working with a lot less torque though so I’m still really reluctant to go any higher on the wheels. I’ve honestly considered going back to 245/75R16 just as much as going 265/75R16. Kinda disappointed that there is no good option in 245 while bumping diameter slightly. There is 235/85 but those are usually E-rangers which end up way heavier.

My sub sounds like it's going out, but Im not 100% sure. I've had it less than a year. It was working fine then on the freeway I could hear an unusual sound when it hit a certain note. Then it stopped working completely. Maybe a fuse? :help:

Also I hit the breaks about a week ago and it fell off my back seat. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

So I spent the day, rearranging the house to get ready for the baby, so adjusting the current kids toys and play area, making a run to ikea for storage stuff for things, setting up the play pen, upstairs putting the bassinet together. Car seats are ready to go into the car and truck. Last step is just having the baby on Monday, we go in at 6am to induce, and sounds like he should be out hopefully around noon.

Our tiny pool project has finally started after 2 +months. Took the top edge off today. Hope they show up to put the new pavers on.

These are the pavers. Will match a sidewalk we’re having put in leading to the pool.
