Finally get to join this tread!

 

Just joined the Tayota and Tacoma Family 2 weeks ago. I've driven sedans my whole life but very excited to finally own a truck. I will be driving 99.5% of the time on regular streets/freeways and don't know of any places in the East Valley area of Phoenix where I could go for a little dirt trail. I'm not really looking to go crazy off roading, but a camping trip here and there plus trips to some lakes in the white mountains are in my future.

Current Mods/changes:
- 3 inch body lift
- Fuel Recoil 17x9, 6 offset wheels
- Toyo Open Country R/T 285/70/17 tires
- Plati Dip'd Emblems

Still trying to decide on if I want to do sliders/predator steps. Also I haven’ removed the black plastic piece (believe it's called an air dam) in the front, should I remove it?

mods/changes coming soon:
- I've ordered a China Pro Grill and will use Kydex to fashion my own Garnish for the radar.
- Remove TRD Sport sticker (Maybe)

Wish List:
- Bull Bar or LoPro bumper with winch and LED Bar (Why?!?, because why NOT!)

 

Yes, get rid of the air dam. It’s only there for increased MPGs and you can kiss those goodbye with that new lift and those sweet wheels!!! Nice rig! This was my first truck too. It’s awesome.

 

Just traded in my 2016 TRD sport access cab 4X2 and picked up a 2018 SR5 4X4.

Thinking of getting a set for my truck. Everyone seems to have them in black on their silver....

Yep, excellent, thank you. I was concerned the color would be too far off from the silver. It doesn't look half bad. Local dealership has them for $171.33 a wheel.....

 

Removed the V6 badge. Tailgate looks so much better without a floating emblem. Not sure why they put it on in the first place.

 

Traded in my 2015 SR5 4x2 DCSB for this 2018 OR 4x4 DCSB

 

Traded in the BMW for my dream truck, 2 weeks in and I'm absolutely loving it !
