Hmmm! I’ll try it and see what they say. They have some special in that the common folk don’t have?

    Thx for the heads up.

Get your fingers moving! Either way land yourself a set of wheels. SCS website lists a few other Dealers as well but I’ve only been told Freeman’s and Michael’s (Bellvue WA?) might supply.

It’s attainable to get them on the SCS website - preload the CC and your info on Google Chrome, and when it opens preload all your fields, hardest part is selecting 4 and color. Or start a cart with a t shirt and return at open... same basic process.

I don’t see any dealer option on their website. I’m dying here. I’m not good with patience.

It’s under the FAQs if I recall correctly. Not sure all sell.

I’ve always thought this is such a random group of dealerships. Wonder what the backstory is to the connection to these three Toyota spots.

Ok...so talked with Freeman this morning. I'm still 3rd in line for gunmetal 17" ray 10s. Their latest shipment in didn't get any gunmetal ones. They do have a set of brushed copper 17s right now though! (I'm not getting them....I don't think it would look good on a silver 4nr). Anyway, they also have some matte black 18" -> https://parts.freemantoyota.com/scs-wheels/

I'm asking this without reading through the thread already but does anyone know if you can get these with black bolt heads? Also, what is the trick to getting a set? All I know is it is difficult, read following them on Instagram is a good headstart.

Looking to install new wheels and tires late July/mid August.

Ummm, how’d you score them wheels?

Not positive, but I thought I read somewhere on TW that you have to DIY if you want them in black.

I requested black bolts from Vin with my SR8's and found that they no longer offer that service. DIY is your best bet. Just unscrew em, paint em, and hope it doesn't chip/smear when you put them back in.

I didn't know the unscrewed, thought they may have just been stamped to look like bolts.

Cool, could probably source them in black then as well.

    Thanks.

Any idea about how often they get in stock? Hoping to pull the trigger soon, but not sure if I wait for 3+ months.

No black bolts anymore. Once upon a time they offered them. I asked Vin a while back and no ETA if they will ever do black bolts again.

I just dropped my bolts off at the powder coaters today. They come off easy. I'll post some pics when I get them put back on and installed.
