Hey, hey, hey, easy tiger. I'm not middle aged, I'm "golden". I'm not not overweight, I'm "big boned". And I'm not white, I'm Danish-American.

I didn't even realize people talked that much shit on 6". Why do they do that? Some people hate no matter what. You could have the same damn truck and mods they do, then they'd talk shit on which fragrance you chose at the carwash. Don't sweat 'em, Dom.

After many years I have come to the realization that most people (not you) are retards. But then I look at these retards and think, "What goes through this tard's mind when he looks at me? Does he say, 'look at that tard over there.' or does he say, 'Blair is fucking awesome! I want to be just like him!' So I just say fuck it. Let people talk. I really don't care what most people think.I'm happy, my family is happy. That's all that matters. [/end soapbox]

Alex, I'm definitely expecting you on the trip, if not as a driver, at least as a passenger.

Dom, I would hope most of those guys are joking about the compensating thing. I teased you once and most certainly did not truly mean one word of it. Honestly, I could care less about the size of your dick. I never plan to get within 3 feet and/or 2 clothing layers of that thing.

There is nothing wrong with 6" of lift. I have 3" and drag my front and rear bumpers all over the damn place. I just personally plan to correct that problem with high clearance bumpers instead of more lift.

"Optimal height" is a strange thing in the world of off roading. There is no definitive answer. "As low as possible but as high as necessary" is as good of an answer as any but even that varies depending on terrain, driving style, etc. Mud bogging, sandstone crawling, rock garden crawling, deep woods trail riding, and any other style of wheeling you can imagine all have a different "optimal height". Basically, a guy on the east coast that has never even seen the terrain you wheel in is a fucking idiot if he thinks he knows what's the best set up for your truck.

More so, "optimal height" only comes into play in the most extreme circumstances (hard core rock crawling, off camber driving, high speed desert racing, etc). 99% of all guys who claim to be "wheelers" would never attempt any of this due to the risk it poses to their trucks. They instead take their truck out, drive down a bumpy dirt road, do a few burn outs in a mud puddle, then drive their front tire up on to a molehill to take a "flexing" picture. This day of wheeling could be successfully executed in anything ranging from mom's bone-stock Subaru Forester to an F350 show truck with 24" of lift.

I'll admit you're getting close but you're still not done. You need dual batteries, on-board air, and a winch (Just ask your clutch about this one).

You got me. This is true.:) Two things though:

One, if you read that sentence again, hopefully you'll see that I don't necessarily say it's a bad thing. I just said that's what most people do (probably wisely so).

Two, if you go through my gallery, you'll see I do shit a in a $34,000 truck that only a complete fucking moron would do (aka, me).
