I used the Leer dealer locator. Called all of the local dealers for quotes and settled on TAPS Truck & Auto in Paso Robles,CA. http://tapstruck.com/index.php/contact/
My 100XR will come with the Thule Tracks and removable front window. Don't forget to use the Leer web coupons, I got my removable front window for free with the coupon.

Marlene and April, from TAPS, were very helpful and answered all my questions via email and telephone promptly. The 100XR for my 2018 DCLB should arrive in about 3 weeks.

Thank you. You did alright...I just wanted as much ventilation or cross breeze as I could get. My camping is done in what appears to be a much warmer climate than yours...LOL.

Looking for advise here. I am very happy with my cap and excited a found a used one for such a good price. But the previous owner didn't order it with tracks for a roof rack. I want to install a roof rack on the cap now and the dealer tells me the only way is to drill the cap and that there is no way to waterproof it if I do. They say silicon will still leak. I'm curious to see if others have drilled their camper tops to add a roof rack and if they had leaking issues and if so how significantly? If not how did you waterproof it?

    Thanks!

    Tom

Had my ARE Overland shell installed today. Yakima tracks, carpeted headliner and a drop down front slider. I am very happy with the fit and finish.

Your DCLB get smooshed between two semis or something?

That overland looks great on the white. Just had my overland put on last month. No tracks tho but
I'm looking to install Yakima tracks myself. Do you happen to know what length your tracks are on the short bed...err i mean factory smooshed? Lol.

Yes so far I really like the Overland. Have you had any issues with yours? The tracks are 48” and 50” with the end caps installed.

nice! No issues with the top. I'm seeing more and more of them on the road these days. Thanks for the dimensions. I have a short bed too so I'm going to shoot for that same length. Since the Yakima tracks come in 3 fixed sizes (48, 56 and 60 inches...i think) I suppose I'll have to cut them somehow. I just don't want to pay $ 200 for the install. I might be cheap but that felt steep to me!

Sorry...just looked it up, the three track sizes for yakima are actually 42, 54 and 60 inches.

Im pretty sure you can buy them at 48. The install is expensive but I went with the tracks rather than the LED lights. I installed The LED lights myself for a little cheaper.

Even though you don’t have a DCLB, lovely truck. I wish they did a black and white combo like the overland with the body of the MX.

Thanks Jleeb! The dealer I bought the Overland from had just had a Z series painted the same way, so it may be possible on the MX.

I imagine a skilled line-x person could do it.
