    Unfortunately, no. All is still well with the Tacoma, but I’m still curious if I did something wrong or different with the front.

    I’m going to attempt to extend my brake lines and flush everything this week sometime so was just curious. Glad it’s all worked out.

    Mine felt the same. Less fluid, less of the pump coming on when I did the front brakes.

    Is it likely because the length of brake line between the master cylinder and the front brake is much less than the length of brake line between the master and the rears? Therefore there won’t be much fluid and won’t be much pumping? When I did mine I wondered the same thing. Why wasn’t it doing the same, sounding the same, pumping the same? I had my wife come out and pump the breaks a little, then had her try many more 10 second pumps.

    In the end I figured it was likely because the front has much less line and thus less fluid and needs less pumping.

    I don't recall having that issue! Were you filling the reservoir between each wheel? I have the SB's and just had my wife push and hold the pedal down and I topped off the res each time and it seemed to go just fine in the front? Next time I feel confident to do it myself if nobody is around. I just followed the directions as stated in the OP. Pretty much used up the whole quart?

    @Crom great write up. Any chance you know if those speed bleeders are the same part numbers today? I'm trying to find them. From your pics, it looks to be 2 different part numbers for 2 different sizes. The websites I've visited (speedbleeders.com and Russell brand bleeders) both only have one part number for one size.

    I have a 2013 Tacoma Prerunner with 61K miles on it. The dealership recommended a brake fluid flush. What is the recommended service schedule for this flush? I was not able to locate the answer anywhere on the threads.
