1st post! Longtime taco owner and follower of TW!

Ordered a ‘18 Cement DBLB Sport w/Premium & Tech, all weather mats/sills, bed mat and 7yr/100k for invoice: $39,018

2,464 less than the msrp of 41,483.

Seems like a good deal for a hard to find truck...?

Been reading on the forum now for months, I had to order my Tacoma because in Virginia you can't get a Tacoma with Premium/Tech in a MT, so I ordered my truck on Feb 20th heres what I got

2018 TRD Sport DC 4x4 MT Cement
    Premium/Tech Package
    Floor Mats/Door Seals
    Bed Mat
    Mud Guards
    TRD Shift Knob
    Tonneau Cover
    Predator Steps

I think I got a heck of a deal I paid 35,744.95, plus I got another 1,000 off for Toyotas Military rebate, so 34,744.95, this is obviously before tax/tags/title and doc fee, but I still think I stole the truck. I have wanted a Tacoma since I was 16 so after almost 19 years of waiting Im pretty stoked.

Super good deal! In NorCal, with just Premium/Tech and Floor Mat and Sills, you can't get below $38k base (granted, it's still below MSRP but still...).

In order to have leather seats, do you have to have the Premium ?
Can you have Leather but NO sunroof?!

AFAIK, for OEM, the only way to get leather is with Premium or if you went TRD Pro (has leather, no sunroof).

Any reason why the perceived reliability has taken a hit on late model Tacomas by the "professionals" (review websites).. anything out there leading anyone to believe the current gen couldnt march to 200k without something huge breaking?

I'm hopeful mine will. I'm sure it's due to all the modern electronics. I usually keep my vehicles a long time (13 years on my 2nd gen). If my new one starts showing electronic issues, I won't keep it very long.

Now part of the reason I think they did this is because the sales manager used to work at a Honda dealership and I had bought a bunch of cars from him. I’d have never gone to Honda for a truck, since Honda doesn’t make one. Anyway I think he really wanted to get my business from Honda and I was happy to be a pawn in the game.

Thank you! I’m extremely happy with the purchase so far. I love it. My current search is for a tonneau cover.

Just ordered (1 week ago) a 2018 OR DCSB in BBP with manual, tech and premium. Only other option was the TRD shift knob. 38,310 MSRP, I paid 35,100 +TTL. I think their may have been a little more $ to be had, but I was comfortable with that deal. This is middle TN.
