    What's a wife? :der:
Got MT so I doubt any female in the radius of 150 miles knows even how to drive it...

Wife is mad because I'm looking at an early Cadillac CTS-V. She said its nice as long as auto. 6 speed will set her straight.

Mine too, she sits on a pillow when she drives my Taco. Funny thing is her Prius C has a manual seat height adjustment. Some day I’m going to take it out and see if the Taco seat can be modified.

Once when I was really drunk from a party and she actually did really good too! But I still voted no, I don't really let anyone drive it other than myself.

My wife says my truck is "too big". She's used to a rav4. I don't drink and I love to be the one behind the wheel, so there isn't ever a reason for her to drive. She could if she ever needed it though.

Even though mine isn't a manual, she did have a manual Civic for about 8 years, so women do drive manuals, lol.

My wife can’t drive a manual, so,she has never driven it. Every car I have ever owned has been manual so I don’t see here ever driving anything but her Yaris.

I offer to teach, but no go.

Mine freaked out on a mild crawling experience in Arches NP and tried to get out of the truck... by the end of the White Rim she was driving canyon roads without a problem. Even have video proof. On the small stuff in Big Bend, I'm going to get her feet wet on crawling since she's still nervous about that. Around town, not an issue. Swap about once every couple of weeks.

My wife only drives mine offroad. Funny story The first time she drove offroad there where some little ruts maybe 4 inches deep running across the road. She came to a dead stop and asked me what to do. I laughed and told her to keep it between the trees we wasn’t in her highlander.

Since then she has gotten really good at driving on trails. She loves when people get stuck and she gets to snatch them out

If there is something really technical I will drive but I would rather spot and let her do the driving

My girlfriend drives it all the time. We both drive stick (she's been driving stick longer than I have, hehe), and an automatic just wasn't even an option we considered (glad we got the 5 speed while they still made it). Pretty sure she's taken the truck on more interesting 4WD roads than I have...

My wife has driven my truck maybe 6 or 7 days total since I bought it last March. A couple of those days were due to me taking her car to a body shop near my office as the clear coat was flaking off her Kia soul. A couple more when I was playing chauffeur for the dog as I had not yet solved the slick leather seat issue in my Taco for him so I was in her Kia again. The other times she drove it were solely because she needed to haul stuff to or from her work. Six or seven months after fixing the clear coat, her Kia was traded for her new Rav.

My Taco kind of scares her because of the hood and height, she feels like it is HUGE. Prior to her getting the Rav she would complain about me driving like a "grandpa" because the Taco rides so smooth 40 and 50 feel more like 15 - 20 did in my old 1st gen Taco and her Kia. The Rav drives much better than her Kia ever did even when it was new.

She probably did not drive the 1st gen more than a couple dozen times the entire time I owned it either.

My husband wouldn't let me get a manual because then he wouldn't be able to drive it.. I still don't let him drive my truck except for on long road trips when I need a break. :D
