I was looking for this bike and narrowed it down to 4. YT Jeffsy 27.5 and Canyon Spectral were on the more trail focused side, then on the more enduro side was the Scott Genius 720 and the Santa Cruz Hightower.

I ultimately went with the Genius because I got an insane deal that blew even the direct to consumer bikes (YT and Canyon) out of the water.

They are called Bulk Carriers, essentially dump trucks of the sea. Where was the photo taken?

Typically these vessels cargo consists of granulates (Fertilizers, iron ore, bauxite). My best estimate in your photo would be the ship being a 'Laker' type. They carry about 50, 000 tons which is equivalent to roughly 1800 semi-trucks.

Those cranes allow the ship the self-discharge at remote ports opposed to a crane onshore.

Right on. Thanks for the info.

We’re running north out of Westport WA, for rock fish and long cod.

Been mountain biking for about 2 years now, but just recently within the last month became a Taco owner and I'm stoked! Bikes and Tacomas were meant for each other!

Sundance opens this weekend and Deer Valley is just around the corner! Gonna be a shreddy weekend.

Gotta prep for Sundance Super D on the 2nd and Tears, Fears, and Beers on the 9th!

Anyone have a good checklist of what to keep in a bag for an "Enduro" race? I figure the usual riding tool kit, plus more water, snacks, and maybe a 2nd spare tube?

Guys I have a question!! Sorry it’s not Tacoma related but bike related. I have a Cannondale Trail 29er SL 2. Yesterday I purchased a Giant XTC 1 26 wheel base for pretty cheap. The Giant is a medium size frame, the Cannondale is a Large and with the bigger tires fairly large. I’m torn if I should sell one of the bikes .. I could use the cash. Both bikes are model year 2012. What bike is better??? I am 5’8

As awesome as the 26er is, get rid of that one. 26ers is fading (#26aintdead :D) based on trying to find stuff for my DH bike. They are either pricier or are harder to find.

My wife and I are headed there in a few weeks for our anniversary. We've been going down to that area the last six years. I'd move there in a second if my industry had a presence in the area.
