I never thought of it like that, but if I found myself in that situation with four half worn mtr’s i would buy all new and sell the old on craigslist subsidizing my new purchase...half worn tires sell fast where I live and for good money, and then I have all new tires. Might be a hassle but worth it in that sutuation.

Christ that's a long drive... don't want to fly?

I can't do long drives by myself. I always have to drag one of my friends with me.

Your overthinking it bud. I would just run the new tire and stay on the same rotation timing as I would normally do. Just roll with the punches.....

Alone... with my thoughts!? I thought this was a truck, not a philosophical medium in which we use to interpret our own beings!

You're very right. I remember driving down some desolate highway in the middle of nowhere California in the middle of the night, and not seeing another car for hours. No radio reception and I didn't have an aux at the time. It was strangely peaceful, but scary. Shit if I broke down they won't find my body for weeks.

nothing wrong with that. Pretty much how I do it now.

Is worth attempting to sell the tires at 50-80% life though on a wheeling rig. Usually can sell tires for a decent price around that tread life and it makes for keeping new tire on the rig which means you always have good biting edges.

Oxnard. My dad used to take me fishing there as a kid. I bet it’s changed a lot since the 80’s :anonymous:

Cool man. Yup that’s what I remember. The fields everywhere. The entire SoCal area has grown so much in the last to decades it’s crazy. Denver is expanding at a decent rate now too.

I’m originally from Pacoima in the Valley. Grew up there in the 90’s late 90’s moved to SD when I joined the Corps.

LOL that's not that long of a drive ... I've driven from east TN to central FL about 12 hr drive after working all day and then drive thru the night. Best part of getting thru Atlanta without bumper to bumper. But my personal longest drive was in a school bus from NYC to east TN right around 15 hrs :bananadead: now that was a long drive specially after driving the bus in down town NYC for a few days right after thanksgiving

You pretty much described the entire state of Wyoming. Part of the reason I love it here.

Had a seizure the other night. Found out I am now legally not allowed to drive for 6 months which sucks for me with job and getting back into school at Ole Miss living off campus. Thats not going to stop me from hopefully doing a deckplate mod today and retrofitting a 4runner washer fluid neck for my broken one.

Your ok. People hear Wyoming and think north, cold... f that. Not knowing it’s really not that bad. But once they figure it out. Watch out then you’ll have a bunch of Californians and Texans moving there :p

nah. They still don't know. Its funny to me. People always think of Montana, Colorado, and Jackson hole.

Don't know anything about the rest and thats fine with most people here.

Its so desolate I think that is the biggest turn off for most. But not always. I wish I was still living there.
