I do it in sections also. Bed/fenders...each door...hood, etc.
I do it by hand so letting it set for TOO long and it gets difficult to come off.

Wife and I are considering a move down to SC. My parents live in Jacksonville, FL, so we want to be closer to them without being too close if you know what I mean. Options within my company for transfer opportunities include Charleston and Greenville, opinions on both? My initial impressions are that Charleston is beautiful but pricey, close to the water, and good opportunities for saltwater fishing and kayaking, where Greenville is closer to the mountains, colder, and less expensive to buy a house.

How's the traffic? Looks like I'll be commuting since we want a few acres and don't want to spend above $175k if we can help it.

Yes, sections bro. I had a detailer come to the house for the 1st wax on the Scat pack. Young kid who was a friends son at work. I left him alone in the garage as I didn't want to make him nervous.

Came back out to the garage and the kid had the entire car waxed!! I was like...dude.
I had to give him some of my detailing spray to get it off. NEVER do the entire car at once.

My truck has been sitting for 10 months now (been cranked and driven a little) but I’ll likely need to spend a day washing and waxing.
