So being a child of the 1980s… I always wanted to be like Marty McFly… (After he got back to the future.) So when I needed a new truck at the end of 2011 there as only one vision in my mind...

    upload_2018-5-18_14-16-18.jpg

So I went down to the Toyota dealership and picked out a TRD Sport Quad Cab Short Bed, and as I drove home I felt like I had accomplished one of my life dreams (Take that Biff!). I promised myself that when the tires got a little tired, and the truck wasn’t so pristine, I would do all the awesome off road stuff needed to take Jennifer Parker camping at the lake!

But the years just kind of kept rolling on, and a full 6 and a half years after I bought it I was still on my original stock tires (40k miles) and didn’t have so much as a dent, ding, or bird crap stain on my truck.

Then I waked out this morning to find this…

Somebody had smashed my driver side mirror clean off in the night. FINNALY!!! No more excuses... Let the Modifications begin!

Coming up soon: OME Coilover Lift & Dakar Springs, Body Mount Chop, and 285/75/16 BFG KO2s on Pro Comp 7032 16x8 rims.

After that: Retractable Tonneau PE SWT7475, KB Voodoo Rack, Roof Top Tent, Sliders, Skid Plates, KN Cold Air Intake, Bumper, Winch, Etc. (You get the idea…)

I found ton’s of great info and ideas on this board… so I though I would join.

    Cheers,

Welcome to tw man! Prepare your wallet for the beating its going to get for sure. One note I would say from having one myself... the k&n cold air is not worth it at all. Noise was cool but that was it, you will have better noise from an exhaust though and not have to oil your filter (potentially getting it on your MAF) for what its worth.

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Please make a Sadler Toyota decal for it lol. I loved that truck from the minute I saw it and always wanted a Toyota 4x4 because of that movie too. Can’t wait to see your progress.
