I took a deep socket (can't remember the size but it matched the width of the washer) and used that to push the washers on while supporting the front of the garnish - they went on tight! No rattle.

I used a small 1/4 inch deep socket and extension. Had my son in law hold the grill and put pressure on the garnish. Tapped the extension carefully to seat them tightly.

Does anyone know how to remove this to fit the TSS in?

The radar fits in there with that on. You’ll need to cover those two open holes with plastic to protect the radar. Or you could take that piece out and spend an extra $50-60 on the garnish to cover the radar. It’s flat and shiny. Check out previous posts to see which one you like.

Do you have a picture to share of the stock 18 grill with black bezel? I am on the fence between going with the pro grill or swapping the chrome for black bezel.

Is TRD Pro grill OEM 3170, 3180, or China model?

Both parts are OEM from Dealer, still in box, 3170 (no China) I decided to go a different route.

This is an OEM grille, not Chinese. FYI
    $380 for grille
    $54 for garnish

Had to purchase a knock off and then the OEM garnish. Went in flawlessly and works just fine.

I ordered the Toyota grill last week and it came in today. Had to supply a Pro VIN as people stated(which I pulled from the net). No other questioned asked and they shipped it out after receiving the part at the shop. Thing is they sent the 35170 grille and not the 35180. (I have a 2018 and the VIN was for a 2018). Received the garnish as well and should have it in this weekend.

Is the font on the A bigger or is it an optical illusion?
