Is Sundance any better lately? Haven’t ridden there in years, and it was pretty shitty back then.
Deer Valley on the other hand, good times. Their new lines are bad ass.

Two more week till Trestle here, but Angel Fire opens for weekends this week I think.

Its a solid "meh" you can't compare it ti DV but for half the cost, half the drive from Provo, and 1/10 the people, its pretty damn good.

There are a lot of east coasters here, I've always wanted to ride out there! Anyone from or ride in Bend?

Katzkin leather, heated seats, Popnloc, bed lights, remote start, bhlm....
I grew up riding the Provo trails. Agree that Deer Valley is way better than Sundance. Sundance is more fun to climb and ride on an XC bike. Deer Valley has awesome dh lines.

I'm not a local but there are plenty of trails in GJ (Lunch Loops) and in nearby Fruita (Kokopelli and 18 Road systems). And Moab is not that far away either.

I finally switched to a 1 by set up a couple years ago and was extremely happy. A 1x9 to be exact. You want to make yourself even happier.....go to a 1x11. As far as tubeless, that’s something I still have not taken the leap on......

Awesome.... we usually end up going later in the summer, so i'm excited to try it before it gets roosted out and too dusty! Hoping to get over to the Mckenzie trail for the first time as well!

What kind of trails do you like? Flow, scenic, techy...

18 road is a must, supa flow, classic ridge stuff, a must ride. Do Zippety Do Da, and Joes and moJoes, and PBR. The rest is more of the same, just not as fun.
Lunch Loops are techy rides, little flow, but fun moves with bigger features.
Koko is fun, flowy and beautiful.
It’s going to be HOT during the day, but morning rides are where it’s at. Good light on the features, cool, not busy.

Thanks,it’s actually in palisade but I figure if I’m going I’ll bring my bike I’ll try to ride everything within an hour drive that looks fun and will continue on to steamboat after. I’m not too good with riding in 90+ degrees so fingers cross it’s rainy and cloudy when I’m there Hana

How early do I need to be on the trails by to beat the heat? Any shuttle trails nearby for when it’s warmer?
