Yes it will work for a 2010. Mine is a 2010. Just remeber if you trip the check engine light along with the traction control light just reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery.

Yeah its contagous... once you do your fist mod its all down hill from their. you know your in trouble when you thinking of mod that havent been done yet or at least there is no 'how too'. nothing like trouble shooting your brand new truck, scary at first, but so worth it in the end when you get the result you were looking for.

I did this mod today, along with the front mud flap trimming and removal of the charcoal filter, all three mods I found on this site!

This mod rocks, so simple yet big cool factor!

I dont know how the hell you figured out how to do this.. but its awesome.
I've had my truck for 2 days and this was the first mod I've done, followed by the "fog lights always on".

I checked your picture and instructions like 20 times while doing it, and also had a few frantic minutes thinking i killed it, then realized i forgot to plug the wires back in.

Awesome mod THANKS for figuring out how to do this and posting it!!

So basically all I'm doing is splicing the green to post 1, cutting the red wire in half and taking one end to post 2 and the other to post 3?

    Edit:
So does this attached schematic look right?

I have not left mine on for that long, but my understanding is that this is normal. It's a "feature", not a "bug"...

I think that's it. My only decision point was where I wanted the switch position when it was in normal mode vs. on.

Yea that schematic is right. Splice post 1 to green. Cut red in half- part going to the plug goes to post 2. other part of red goes to post 3.

Have not left mine on for more than a few minutes so I dont know if it will turn off after 5 minutes.

REALLY EASY MOD! dont be afraid to try it. its really very simple but i think is awesome to have.

Make sure you try all your connections first. Some switches are strange. I got this switch that has the outer two posts labeled as "On" and the middle post as the 12v lead. Remember measure twice cut once.
