Just bought a condo and I’d rather not unbox it to make packing it easier as I just ordered it off Amazon and it’s nice and compact and together. Should be moving in at the end of the month and will be getting used weekly

I just got one of those recently too. Still haven't tried it. I didn't have any problems using the ol trusty crock pot but of course the gf saw something new and shiny and had to have it lol

Pro tip for all you bean lovers-If you put a strip of dried Kombu in with them while they're soaking & cooking, it cuts down on the bean-related explosions after you eat them.

Hey a carrot does too, and 10 year old me thought it would be hilarious to eat the carrot and have massive explosions; that is not what happened. I was almost doubled over from flatulent pain... Do not eat it, just enjoy the beans!

Not trying to brag (wait yes I am..) but I ponied up and bought a 9lb Boston butt to cook for my mother and mother in law for a belated mothers day bbq. Went on the smoker at 7am

Ponied up? Isn't fresh shoulder something like $2/lb?

Personally, I prefer a Picnic Ham for something like that, but that's just because I prefer the flavor of bone-in.

Haha yeah you're right, this was about $1.89/lb but 10 pounds of it. I've never done the picnic before but that's on my list. Brisket as well

Osmosis or diffusion i would hypothesize. Methane causing molecule concentration going going from high to low until homeostasis is reached.

Or it could be that caroten (or some other protein) is highly attractive to the aforementioned molecules

So i guess to answer your question most accurately, no, no i don't
