har har har, yeah i def don't love the tacoma as a towing vehicle.

my buddy is lending me his teardrop trailer for a trip to AZ/southern UT. It's not a very large trailer by any means

If the trailer has it’s own brakes then it will need the 7 blade connector. Which you need to wire into not only the tail light of the truck but also run power from battery and install a break controller in cab

Edit: If it’s not heavy just add the 4way and call it a day

You said it was a tear drop? If you don’t mind working truck breaks harder just get a plug and play 4way from auto part stores

    Sounds like a fun trip.

Maybe not worth installing a brake controller if it's light enough.. any idea what it is or what it weighs? Just leave plenty of room for braking if not.

it's pretty small, thinking about it i do feel comfortable going w/o a brake controller. i drive very slow as it is.

One of these.^^ you can get a plug from any part store or Amazon. If ya want to go cheeper ya can get the one at the bottom and wire it into the taillights youself

Montrose seems to be nice, how do you like it there?

The wife and I have stayed there on the way to Telluride, seems to be a pretty mellow little town.

For someone who just wants to get away from the city it's great, but I've never had plans to actually live "in town" if that makes sense.

    It does, actually.

The restaurants are pretty goo... Wait a minute. Montrose totally sucks, nobody should EVER have to live there. :spy:

Some of you might remember my truck like this. Some of you would remember it without the front bumper too.

The funny thing is for the arb 2005+ snorkel, your supposed to cut two holes, and then cut the widows peaks to make a large oval hole....
