So i that’s what i had at my parents house. Worked great so my only issue now at my new place is i have 3 foot higher ceilings. I would have to make or find a longer pole to operate-it, to raise and lower, Might be a better way to go. Rather than trying to figure out a electric crane hoist using an i-beam. That hoist is about 150 On sale to 250.00. Can pick up an electric crane hoist from HF 100-150 so i was curious if i could make a electric hosit for under 300 bucks maybe lift other stuff with it.

I use a geared hand winch with pulleys.
Put the winch as low as you want.

What Eric said. You can add pulleys anywhere you need them. Height isn’t an issue you just need a long enough cable.

Getting rained out at work is getting old. It’s really hurting my OT and truck part money. Come on warm season kick in!

Something like this... a couple of pulleys, some scrap wood and old straps and you could be in to the whole thing for less than $50.

Did you get better HAM stuff?

@teamhypoxia they canceled one big milling job. The 2nd job only has a couple of of trucks on it to clean up and then they are shutting down too. So I’m just hanging out and listening to my pandora through my Bluetooth on my machine with a view of the river and trees. I was hoping to at least get 10 hrs today but probably only get 4 or 5. Whatever.... at least it gives me time to entertain you with stupid jokes. So don’t screw up my mojo. I’m on a rolll today. Shitty Pics for reference.

Any Intel on the transfer trail north of Glenwood?

Since Independence pass is still closed... Might have to explore it, i think the gate is opened.

    Edit
Guess not... It requires a permit and DOW isn't open today.
