I’m very interested in linking another solar panel to house battery. Keep me updated on what you come up with please?

Edit: @MJonaGS32 as well - any info is appreciated

Here’s the fill port for my water tank. Also has a breather hole and connection for my exterior shower

Easy peezy mod, loop of paracord to pull the window down when you’re inside it.

Also handy for keeping it open a little bit for some air flow, could make it adjustable pretty easily.

I’m currently camped at the SOS Concepts building and it’s raining outside...but it’s still like 70 degrees outside

Debated on getting one of those 270° awnings but I already had a 4’ Tepui awning (installed in the rear) and I got a deal on this 8’ ARB. Plus @Overlanerd brought up a good point where if you’re in a parking lot (I tailgate at Niner games a bunch), you wont be able to open a 270° awning.

I absolutely loved my Alu-Cab awning and once I get my Drifter I plan on putting one on.

I had an ARB awning mounted for 2-3 months and never used it once because it was such a hassle to set up. On the flipside, everytime I stopped on a trail for a break or at camp I deployed the Alu-Cab as it took no shit 5 seconds to set up, and maybe 15 to take down. YMMV.

Yea that shadow awning is bad ass. But couldn't justify the $1500 price tag when I got this this for $200. Plus this will suit my needs better, specifically when I'm at Niner games. Or maybe I'm just telling myself that because I didn't want to spend that much on an awning :pout:

Any idea on where to acquire longer bolts for this?

A good hardware store will have bolts. Think McFaddendale not Home Depot.

Forgot to take pictures before it got dark. Here’s one from my IG story

If anyone is on IG, I posted in my story a super short vid of me sitting inside and a couple of boomerang vids.

:eek:So do you get any funny looks from people carrying a saw into a hotel room? Under the cover of darkness?
