I had one on my 15, loved the sound, quiet until I let her rip. I don't know how it sounds on the turd gen as I won't be picking up the Pro until next week.

They’re nice wheels. I bought the matte gray a while ago as an impulse buy. Just waiting to burn through my current 16” tires.

 

Damn! Everyone is getting new cars and trucks. I’m about to order some white phosphor NVGs... jealous of all the TRD pros being bought by y’all.

 

It certainly wasn't my plan, but with the cards I was dealt with my S5 I said fuck it. Going back to my Toyota roots and figured a TRD Pro is what I wanted back when I bought my 15, so I might as well get one now.

 

Ok, so I fixed the needle bearings in the U joint and put everything back together. The cap went on with no problem and everything went back together smooth.

I do, however, have a nasty drive line vibe now .

I think I am going to try and drop the center bearing with some spacer and see if that helps.

What puzzles me is that I had no vibes before this. I replaced everything becuase my CB was bad and my U joints were going out. One U joint was really bad when I opened it up.

I hate these vibes, and I don't really have a whole lot of time to fool with this.

What do I need to do to see about the driveshaft recall? Call the dealership?

 

Yeah, call and take it in for them to check out. They put me in a vehicle since it's warranty, I guess. It was a late appointment. And it's a warranty extension and not an actual recall. Goes up through some 2011s.
