I'm the 3rd owner of the fridge 50L I have, got it cheap and couldn't pass it up for what I got it for. The sucker can easily hold a 36 pack and enough food for 2 people on a 4 day trip.

pretty much, first trip with the fridge we kept adding from the 36 pack just to see how much space we get to work with. It all fit with having enough room for the perishables without having to force the lid shut. A 50L is a good size to have for the average Joe and family.

It would be funny to be at the campsite next to these guys so they could just over hear the things we say.

How do you weld the link mount (or trusses for that matter) on housings without warping the housing?

Sequence the beads, 2” on one end, then 2” on the opposite etc letting it cool down in between of you need to

    I’ve never seen that
Sequencing beads is common for most work done on thin material

Warping is inevitable, it’s just about keeping it at a minimum so it doesn’t effect the life of the internals. moving around while welding is what lots of guys do to keep it at a minimum. It my past automotive life I used to get rear ends narrowed fairly regularly. The shop I used would narrow it. I’d pick it up, install my mounts, and take it back to be straightened and have final assembly done. That was part of the deal if I wanted a warranty on it.
