Exactamundo! Weep holes just like at home. They let the water that beads off the tent body escape out and away. Genius design. Like having gutters on the bottom of the tent, if that makes sense. The way they designed the "in yo face" side vent window panels/screens is also amazing. When closed, rain does enter through the screens, but when it hits the interior overlapping fabric panel it channels down into the same gutter, and out the weep holes. This thing is better designed and built than the apollo command capsules, no joke.

Just got back from the Pacific. 4,000 miles and 15 nights in the GFC and I am still smiling. Unloaded, washed, and about to reload for another trip...

BTW you can totally hose the shit out of the inside and outside of the GFC and it drys off in no time. Just take out the cushions, open all zippers/panels, pay attention to where you spray, and don't use a pressure washer. When done leave it popped up. Helps is you live in sunny CO, but regardless, being able to hose out the entire camper/bed after a long trip is awesome.

We had too much fun on the trip to take all the pics I had planned. Usually that means you're doing it right. Here's a few so far:

Thank you to both @whitetaco16 and @Ralston for the great detailed pictures. Your pictures have me impatient and excited all over again!

Question for either of you - did you get any choice on the cushion color or is gray the predetermined color?

    Those colors look awesome!

Did you put any sealant under your bed rail caps?

I don't think I had an option, nor did I ever ask about it, send them a text. Glad to know I’m not the only one who is excited as all heck about the GFC.

I can say the grey fabric is dope. It’s looks like a cordura type of nylon. Light and quiet, yet tough as nails. Cleans up easy, and drys super fast. Again, they nailed it. Never mind the man in charge of all things sewn used to make some of the best packs money can buy.

Do the flip up panels do a pretty good job of keeping road dust out?

Since the price jumped from $5000 to $6150 after the preorder, is there any discount for TW members that did not get in before the preorder❓

Ok..... I guess I have to ask. Who’s in charge of the soft goods/ sewing side of things?

If memory serves me Stone Glacier Packs, and Mystery Ranch packs are made in Bozeman. Dana Designs was but turned into Mystery Ranch I think.... Dana Gleason? Just a guess... but if that is right, I’m not surprised costs went up. You get what you pay for and awesome costs money.

Wouldn’t be a terrible question to ask Wiley or Graeme via email... though with Expo going on they may be very slow to respond. Good luck.

Full-Size Rig GFC will be $6250, not sure there was a pre-order price for those

That’s the price with both optional windows added, guessing that’s where it came from.

Question for those out there that have installed the GFC (I'm 155, so it's going to be a while): can anyone tell me how far down the clamps holding the topper on the truck bed extend below the bedrail? Working on drawer plans and don't want to design one that is too high so that it runs into the clamps. Thanks.

I don’t believe this is the very “newest” version.... but you get the idea.

They’d have to be very deep drawers to be anywhere near it.

My Decked drawers are pretty deep and no where near the bed rails

Figured I would ask a technical question on this thread because it relates to my GFC, or lack there of, and maybe someone on here will know the answers.

Anyway, I have a new 63qt ARB fridge that I was/ am planning on mounting in my truck bed onto my Decked System once my GFC arrives (originally planned for May). As you all know they are running a bit behind but alas plans are plans and I'm headed to Stowe VT this coming weekend and still need a fridge.

Can anyone tell me if they've had luck running an ARB (or similar fridge) off a standard 12V outlet in the Cab? Since my truck bed won't be covered I'd like to just toss my fridge into the back seat and plug it into the standard outlet. Is this possible? Is there enough power there? I have the ARB fridge wiring kit but I'd like to wait until I but the fridge in it's permanent home before breaking that out. Anyway please let me know. Thank you in advance.
