Heavy Duty long handled two hand type pop riveter made by Pittsburgh Tool. $19.99 at Harbour Freight. By no means a top of the line tool but for 20 bucks and a whole lot more leverage than my Matco standard one hand pop rivet tool it's worth buying even if it's for this one job.

I appreciate what you were trying to do. It’s definitely a nice gesture.

But you delivered it all wrong. Your message sounded very entitled.

    Good to know, man.

    Thanks.

70-80+mph is part of my daily commute to werk. All things Taco must be able to handle this. :fingerscrossed:

I understand that. Takes a big man to accept a little criticism.

My apologies if I was a little “rough”.

I would have just left out the “ridiculous” and “bad buisness” parts out, as those could be insulting to them.

Gotta remember that you want something from them, so possibly insulting them, might not be the best approach.

Why dont you start a thread for a possible group buy and get a solid number of people interested at a set price (say the $160 you want). After you have some solid numbes, contact the manufacturer again, complememt them, tell them where you are at, and ask if they would be willing to come down in price to make it happen. Show them the interest.

Then, I’ll bet they would give you a price you all would be much happier with.

    Good luck!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with giving a review on an item good or bad. I know I would like to know everything about the item prior to purchasing it so I knew what I would be getting into. Last thing I would want is to have someone on this site, when we are supposed to be helping each other out with great buys, great products, and great mods, for someone to not be up front and honest about possible defects. Whether they are an amazing company or not, facts are facts and in the end, it’s just a “review”. Thank You @Canyonero for looking out for others. Maybe @mesojdm will be able to design something that is even better for TW and everyone that is interested in purchasing this item, can purchase from him instead and keep it in the TW family. After all, it’s about helping each other out to better each and everyone of our experiences.

You are Welcome! No apology is needed and I don’t think your email is the only email they have received about one of their products where a customer was dissatisfied. Companies need to hear their customer’s feedback, like I stated, good or bad so they can keep improving their company. After all, we are the reason they are in business.

It looks happy now! (Or maybe stoned?). I was running coaxials in the front door, and had good tweeters in the dash (both through an amp), and the highs were drowning out the mids. So I swapped the door with a 6x9 midbass woofer and added crossovers (just had a cap on the dash tweeters before). (4 channel amp is sitting behind the driver side rear seat, not really seen in the picture). Sounds way better now, can actually feel the mids in the front cab, before was only feeling the lows from the sub.

I think there are a few members out there that get off on trolling, mocking, and giving people a hard time just because. Idk why they get off on it or maybe it’s just they think they are better than everyone else. Idk. I wish they’d get off their high horse, grow up and act their age tho. TW is supposed to be all about what you just stated, “helping out”. It’s been pretty nice lately on here and hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out.
