    Hi Corey-

When you did those RAV4 mirrors, does the old mirror glass just pop off the front of the mirror assembly, or is there more dismantling involved?

    Hey,

I've had them for a good while now and the old glass pops right off and unplugs and the new glass pops right on. Literally about a 15 minute job!

    OK thanks-

I only watched one video on YouTube, and that was on a Chevy Suburban...lol

That is a really nice OEM-style change. Beats those round stick-on blind-spot mirrors my grandma put on her old Rambler. LOL

Thanks for the response!!! Very nice detailed write-up for those of us new to the Tacoma!!!

Hey do you happen to have a link to the wiring harness? I really want to upgrade my basic non-dimmable one to a homelink but having a hard time figuring out the exact wiring harness to buy. Thanks man!

Took the winter tires and wheels off over the weekend and also mounted my spare 285/75/16 up under the truck. Found it on Craigslist for free!

Finally got around to getting a Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator to correct my speedometer with my 285s! Ordered it off of Amazon 2 days ago and it showed up this afternoon! Took me about 2 minutes to program it with the software on the computer and a total of 10 minutes to do the install! We'll worth the money! Also got to finally see the Taco Truck behind the dash!

So with this, it pretty much provides accurate MPG reading and speed? I've never seen one of these before so my knowledge is limited

Yeah, I'm curious if this adjusts the odometer mileage as well or just the speedometer. Thanks!

Yes it makes your speedometer actuate again which will correct your mileage.

This will just correct your speedometer from whenever you install it from there on out. It wont recalculate your lost or gained mileage with the bigger tire size.

So thanks to @Nimble9 he posted a great deal on a TRD Stainless exhaust for $150 on the Northeast Craigslist thread. Picked the thing up a few days ago and just got it put on the truck this morning and wow it sounds good for it only being a 4 cylinder! Nice low tone that's not ridiculously annoying or ricy! I'll have to get a video of it here in the next few days. But it also backfires occasionally going downhill when I'm in a lower gear, that probably has something to do with the LCE Header! I'm very pleased about it!

Was looking through your stuff and saw the AFE intake and the LCE headers you did. But nothing about having to modify the tune on the truck? I work mainly with turbo'd subies and either of those calls for major tuning adjustment. Are they both just bolt on and go?

Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner, been super busy lately. But yes both of these are both bolt on and go no tuning adjustments at all!

Thanks man! I also came across this install video that basically explains that it is a bolt on and go - might help answer some questions some others had:

    https://youtu.be/7JVX3_dKqxI

Sounds really good for a 4cyl..I'd be curious on how the magnaflow system hooked to this header sounds - seems like they used a "proflow"

I had a t100 2.7L when I first started driving and it had a magnaflow cat back system that sounded awesome so I bet the whole system would really compliment it.

I think I'll pull the trigger soon enough...
