    Why are you so bothered?

If you thought you were over paying, why did you purchase the product to begin with?

What’s crazy to you, might not be to someone else.

I’ve seen thinner / smaller pieces of plastic sell for $400-500 bucks.

I didn’t state for you to apologize. I merely suggested that if you are looking at getting something from someone, insulting them might not be the way to go.

Again, if they are selling crap, why did you buy it?

You can say what you want but that wont net you the results you want.

Not planning on buying, that mod is not for me.

I did help. I offered you advice on how to better approach the manufacturer; thus, be more likely to be successful in your endeavors.

No real goal. I just do this for the entertainment value.

It seems it’s only turning left but I haven’t stuffed it yet to see how bad it really is. But I’m onto a lift in the next few weeks.

I would say, even though the appearance and idea is interesting to me, based on the original price and poorly supplied adhesive, that I no longer have any interest in the one you purchased. Maybe at $100. Still iffy. Certainly not at $150 or more. Me, and my wallet, appreciate your review. Perhaps someone that takes pride in manufacturing a quality product, i.e. MESO, could take this idea, make improvements, and create a similar product at a more conservative price that would yield both profits and member benefits. I imagine it could be made, in 2 halves that interlock at assembly via dovetail joints, on a decent sized 3d printer. However manufactured a direct replacement bolt-on version would be much more appealing.

You took a chance and there's nothing wrong with that. I did the same with the then-new Chinese Pro grille. I was lucky but it could have turned out ugly.

    I could be wrong...

The amount of resin this would require makes it far to expensive. I believe he is running a polyjet, which means resin comes at a premium. Not sure how large the platform he prints on is either. I can’t imagine this would be a worthwhile venture or even feasible. That being said, he is a machine, so who knows.

Looks slick as can be... It seems the prices are spot on.

Never legal, when it comes to tint.

    Great pics

I'll tell you what I did today, I replaced the b_t__r_.

Was stranded for two hours, waiting for a jump!

And no part stores are open so I had to buy an EverStart from Walmart... :(

Never have I seen a battery die so early. Toyota should be ashamed of themselves.

So now the first thing on the agenda will be upgrading to a bigger battery.

    Good news tho...

My wife got the groceries I went to buy thanks to my twin bro. Happy wife, happy life...

I remember the first ones that gave that Chinese pro grill a chance. I remember all of the trolls that hated on it and said that it wouldn’t be any good. That if you want things to last, you can’t take the cheap way. Now that their friends have it and it is the same, they are now for it and now promote it. Can’t admit they once gave those people shit for being the first to find a great buy and that they were wrong. Like I’ve said, we take risks with everything we do. It isn’t for others to judge what we do if it is what makes us happy. I’m super glad that the Chinese grill turned out the way it did. It was a great find!

the battery in my new 2017 at the time was out gassing at 2 months... white powder as evidence... ordered a Pelfrie built battery holder and a group 31 Optima... Toyota should be ashamed... I understand profit margins top line and bottom line...if you can’t manage the bottom line you have to manage the top line... quit using the batteries to try to boost the bottom line.

Yup, mine went out just after over 2 years and about 40000 miles. Couldn't believe it but the parts guy told me that Toyota has been notorious for cheap batteries. Oh well I guess at least it's just a battery, I've been lucky I have not had any other problems

There was no powder for me. Thankfully I keep a multimeter with me wherever I go, and have a booster, but never thought I'd need it this early.
