New set of cheap mods coming . Did prime and paint aluminum tool box and got my headlights and grill ordered will update when they are installed

 

Changed oil n filters. Than went the dealership for a free wash. Got back looked worse. Like a dirt film was on the truck. So rewashed it n clay bared and paste wax.

Second girl will be here in July. I had a concrete pad poured for my grilling pleasure but now there is a playhouse, a sand turtle and a couple of pink buggies. Got the wife a suburban and my garage is all gum up too. Next will be a shed.

Finally got around to replacing the head unit. Could not stand central PA radio stations or the 1 CD I own anymore. I think it turned out pretty nicely. About 130 bucks all in for head unit, backup cam, dash kit and wiring harness. Works just fine for my frugal self.

 

Hell yeah send some to Pittsburgh!

Update not epic fail. Went out this morning without it pouring rain and was able to replace a seal on the cv so I’m good to go. Only problem is now the ABS light is on and a lug but broke. The studs fine so I bought 6 new lug nuts. Once I get in a deal for the passenger side CV that wheel bearing will get change this Saturday.

Epic fail today. Went to install new wheel bearings and discovered I need new CV’s parts won’t be in for a couple of days so the truck will be towed to a mechanics, I’ll rent a car for the week. And kick myself for not just letting the stealership do it in the first place as it would have saved me my only day off. I’m stuck working 13 days on 1 day off right now.

Whenever I do a mod, I always make sure I make it look as OEM as possible. Finished up my anytime Front and Rear camera mod and I love it. @Logistics91 is a gentleman and a scholar and was very helpful during the installation process. Called him a half a dozen times and he was always there to help. Cant wait to get these babies in action!

 

First brake job I’ve had to do since I got it. Turned rotors and installed new pads. I used ceramic pads off a Tundra, interestingly less expensive. The pad material seems to be back further on the rotor, maybe has same effect as larger rotors. Rear looked good still, cleaned it up.

Installed my Retrax cover today. Looks great, but it's a bit stiff and I'm wondering if it's a bit off-kilter. Will have to wait and see...

 

Pro Tip. The rotors have 2 empty bolt holes to drive a bolt through, which pushes the rotor off the hub with ease, even when rusted. Just easy turning of a ratchet. No hammering, BFH or drama.
