You must be built like the rock, my skinny 160 pound frame probably cant even bend a 2’ breaker bar if i tired lol

 

Oh, it's easy, just put a six foot pipe on it for more leverage!!

haha idk about a rock. But not a small dude. No breaker bar here, can't remember what i was doing but when it broke i almost smacked my head into the floor haha

 

Def wasn't torquing your balljoints, prolly seatbolts or timing cover haha

I was pretty much doing pull ups on a 2' breaker bar trying to remove rack n pinion bolts on my Titan. My 195lb ass bent the shit out of. So I went to HD n bought the M18 1/2" impact. Best tool I always keep in my truck

 

I mean it matches the running boards. To each his own.

 

I had a HF one without the rubber handle on it. All steel. I was tighting a bolt on the rear bumper and I asked my son to hold the bar. I don't know why he let go but I remembering the F'n thing coming down on my front tooth and chipping it. That boy got one hell of an ass chewing from me.

 

So much work in one day... Got the OME lift done, but with very few photos to post tonight.


Upper ball joints suck (so much), unless you have a ball joint kit and 3 jaw harbor freight puller!

 

for anyone who has led dome and map lights, how did you get yours to work with the key out the ign, i have to have mine on acc for then to work if its not they just sit there and fliker

 

Later models like yours need resistors to stop the sense voltage from the dimmer unit from lighting them. That or you can disable the dimmer unit.

 

You got a link on how to? I never use my dimmer so i dont mind disabling it, easier then trying to wire in resistors.

 

I don't remember who did it, but I'll have a search for it. It is separate from the dash lights hand dimmer, it is a little electronic unit that dims the courtesy lights when you lock your doors.

 

Anyone know if it's possible to register a vehicle in a different state in which they do not reside in? (In exception of Vermont)

CA DMV apparently wants $800 in backfees if I enter the date of first use in the state as 1998, which is when this truck was first put into service. If I put February 2018 when I bought the truck, it's only $217 so I don't know which one applies since the truck technically will have Vermont tags, but was previously registered in the state. If they make me pay $800 I'm not registering it here.

Can I, for example, transfer the Vermont registration/title to Washington state, Oregon, or Nevada if I'm a non-resident? Or any state for that matter. I'm just naming states that border California or are nearby if I have to drive to their DMV.

 

I think there are companies that “buy” your truck and register it in there state then “sell” it back to you so you can register in your state, idk if that makes any sense. But I remember reading that somewhere

 

Makes sense, but looks bad on your vehicle history since it adds several owners.

It's already going to look bad having 'Vermont' on the vehicle history. How the hell am I going to explain that to a buyer? Lol

 

How are you suppose to explain any of your 5lugs history to a buyer lol, they truck as “sketchy” all over it

 

Honestly, it's the bulbs themselves. First one I tried flickered. Ended up ordering from a different seller and it's fine. Both my dome and maps work without issue - including dimming. I'll dig through my Amazon purchases and see if I can find them for you. Stay tuned.
