Any Members in Arkansas?

Ya’ll killing me.....my 60 yo knees been through hell, but not bad enough yet. How do you know when it’s time?

 

No bicycle? Dang. That was the one thing they told me I couldn't get enough of

 

Any Arkansas people gonna make it to the Razorback Ramble in Hot Springs June 1st-3rd???

 

Meh I’m not a rock crawler, fun to watch others fuq their rigs up. Camping is crowded and dry bones. Stay in town.

 

I am going. It will be a good shake down run for my new dakar springs, fridge, and header

 

When you jump off your flatbed, hear a noise like a .22 going off, then can't walk afterwards cause your knee bends inward just like it does to the rear, it's time.....

 

Or when you slip on a wet floor and hear a similar noise and find your kneecap on the wrong side of your knee and you can't stand up, it's time

 

Ewww if I saw my knee cap move I would have passed smooth out

 

My gf threw up a little when I tried to stand up and my knee bent inward. But she wiped her mouth and pulled her car around and helped me get in soo I didn't give her too much grief

 

Adrenalin kept me from passing out when it happened I guess, but I nearly passed out from pain as the ER guy popped it back into place twice, because it wouldn't stay (since he didn't know the tendon was broken) I'll spare the details of what it was like, but the pain was so much that I was super close to passing out on that ER table

Now I know why gangsters always shoot people in the knees in movies

 

Yeah, I will pretty much always have a brace on this knee from now on

 

First day on the lake this year, and the conditions were great! Now that the heat of summer is here this is how I’ll be spending most weekends

 

Damn y'all are making me cringe with all the knee issues. Worst I ever did was pop my knee cap out of place but it went right back in. Had to do a little PT but nothing like you all haha.

Also, a little random but saw on the news this week top golf is officially coming to NWA so we just may have to plan a meet up once it's open!

 

Top golf is fun, but a little pricy

 

I've never been. I'm a bottom golfer, the one at the absolute bottom of the leader board.

 

Very true but sometimes they run specials and happy hour or whatever maybe isn't too bad. Split with a group makes it more affordable.

It's fun to just go hit around and drink. Im not very good either haha.

 

I have never played golf in my life and never plan to lol. I like putt putt though

 

I hyperextened my knee chasing a criminal and finally had surgery 3 yrs back. Torn MCL and meniscus. Sounds like some of you were much worse than me.

Come on over and play. We can play a round ($35), then cook out, relax and laugh at the bad golfers as they drive by. Luckily we've not had a broken window...yet.

And as for knees, guess mine is just getting worn out from use. Not the catastrophic snaps and pops you guys experienced.

 

Haha Top golf is kinda like putt putt but better. It is a bar/restaurant and driving range but the balls are microchipped so you can play different games and it keeps track of distance and points etc.
