3RD GEN ONLY Hood Swappin' N Tradin' Thread

You weren't led to believe anything because nobody here would agree to a swap over the phone without seeing it first. We met at South Coast Plaza, because that's right off the freeway and it's a convenient land mark for directions, but there's a lot mall security there and it's probably not a good place to be working on vehicles without getting hassled, so we "literally" drove across the street and parked next to a TJ Maxx department store. Most people here are trading their scooped hoods plus cash, I was willing to trade straight across but the fact is that your hood wasn't clean enough for me (I'm not dissing your truck) but my truck is super clean. My work truck is a 2003 Tacoma and our family car is a 2007 4Runner so my 2015 is in the garage six days a week and the paint is actually pretty flawless. BTW, thanks to you and your inability to see a good opportunity someone else is going to get a smoking deal on a perfect pyrite mica sport hood..

 

Wtf is going on here? No one cares about your personal stories. Swap or don’t. You guys sound stupid.

Brandon, I'm truly embarrassed for you. I'm sure that anybody reading these posts can clearly see that you're just being a little bitch cuz you didn't get a free hood.
Does this spot look familiar ?, this is the same random sketchy spot that I "lured" you and several other TW members to - to sell other parts off my truck.
On this day I "lured" someone there to sell them my Sport rims and tires, and I'm sure that when the time comes I won't have any trouble "luring" someone there to sell them my hood..

I keep coming to this thread to see hood swappin updates in case an MGM scooper comes thru. I seem to be getting updates on something else being swapped lately

 

To avoid any further confusion perhaps there should be a specific thread for members willing to trade their hoods sight unseen.
Better yet, trades should be limited to people that actually own trucks and not their spouses ~
And if you happen to bring your wife along make sure she's wearing a Burka so that nobody gets accused of being a pervert because they inadvertently made eye contact with her..
