Talking to himself...because it is a 'bad ass' truck for being 20 years old.

Relax there fella. I’m not going down this rabbit hole with you. Feel free to troll someone else and bait them into a useless argument all you want. You’re not the first person I’ve dealt with that had your “I know more than you, so I’m superior” attitude. Fair winds and following seas to you.

Same guy who came in to a high pressure fuel pump thread acting like he knew what he was talking about. Turned out the dude didn't even know we had a high pressure fuel pump or what it was

That’s an ass for ya! No pun intended.

A very good friend of mine lives there and little do you know it’s a rather small town that is surrounded by scenic valleys and mountains filled with Live Oaks/Valley Oaks. Awesome country to ride. I’m sure the recent NASA launch was cool to listen to as the town is neighbors with Vandenberg. Highway 1 is also near by. Wine country. I dig passing through that area. OP, I knew right away that was Lompoc. Cool beans.

Judging people is a lot like that toilet you ride on. Walk through that door and you JUST might feel different.

By any chance, any of you from Lompoc know the Clarke family?

I work with an Ann Clarke on Vandenberg AFB. I have also worked with a Mark Clarke, I believe no relation between the two.

My good friend is an arborist and lives there. I knew right away from your video that was Lompoc. Cool stuff.

How did the rocket launch sound? I saw there was fog during the launch there, but the sound must have been awesome. I’m south of you, and the rocket looked like an orange orb coming our way from the west. It looked super cool.

I worked the launch and got to step outside the building once we saw the engines start on camera. Unfortunately I could not see anything, it was too foggy. But, the sound is awesome to experience from a couple of miles away.

My son recommended the A118 Dash Cam. You can find them from many places, I got mine from Amazon about 3 years ago and it has worked flawlessly. I would not drive without one installed in my vehicle(s) anymore.

Do a search on the forum for some neat dash cam installation tips. Make sure it comes with the mount and 3M adhesive pad.
I followed this install thread, but used the A118 and different power supply module.

To satisfy the TW armchair lawyers, the mic can be disabled with a push of a button.

Holey crap! That video brought back many memories!

I grew up in Lompoc and haven't been back there in prolly 20 years. My first real job was a mechanic position right there at Toyota of Lompoc from '85 to '90. Wow, what a trip!

I unplug every dash camera before I get in a customers car to drive it. Where we are you need permission from at least 1 party member in a private setting to record them.

It used to be the welfare capitol of Santa Barbara county. I grew up there from 1970's to mid 1990's. Maybe that has changed...

Good call. I worked there from 1985 to 1990 and it was pretty low brow back then. It doesn't look like much has changed.
