Since I'm in here almost everyday, I figure it might be a good way to set goals and keep track for me and anyone else that may want to participate.

    Goal 1) 10,000 push ups in 100 days (100/day)
Goal 2) 350 miles on my road bike in 50 days (50miles/week)

I plan on doing weekly updates to track my progress. Yes, there are apps, but if I've learned anything from AZTW, ya'll are brutal and that may be what I need to keep going.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm just too lazy to do this but I will try to keep up with the push up thing.

Good goals. Back in my road and mtb racing days I was doing 300 miles a week . Too many friends got hit by cars and seriously injured so I got of the road bike. Glwg

Well, I figure if other people are on a goal, we can make fun of the ones that aren't keeping up. All in good fun.

It's been a long time since I've been on a bike. Figure two 25 miles. Where I live, it seems pretty safe. Only know of one accident and it was the rider running over something that made him flip off.

I hear that, in the 2 years of my daughter being born, I have not found any time to hit the gym, zero time and energy for most things, which had had left me 40lbs heavier. New kid will be here any day now, and I’m just hoping to stay at least where I am lol.

Not gonna happen . Figure on adding afew more pounds. You know you are going to Finnish off the left over bannana and plum baby food and all the left over chicken nuggets in the years to come . Don't be a shamed that you are out of shape. "Round is a shape". Isn't ito_O:thumbsup:

Been there done that, got the scare and disability to prove it

I can be onboard with that. Need to get back in the routine I was starting in the garage gym plus some random mix of MTB, Running, Hiking.

This is why I want to find an open gym somewhere to start playing basketball again.

After my recent vacation I got back on the scale and was astonished at what I weighed! So I set the goal of at least hiking/walking/running 1-2 times a week or more. So far so good but need to skip some of the craft beer and burgers that I love.
It is sad that once I sold my mtb and road bikes and hit 40, the metobolism just went to shit and so did the motivation. It is hard to get back into it but since I am at the point of needing a larger size of pants it is time to get back at it.

I like the idea of this thread and will add my goals.
    Current weight=190lbs
    Goal= 155-160- - - college graduation weight
Loose beer gut and actually add some muscle. I prefer to hike/run to the gym so will try to add in some push ups etc to add some.

Don’t worry, I’ve been enjoying the start of my “bonding leave” for the new baby by eating whatever, Portillos, chick fil a, ice cream, it’s been a good few days hah.

The only difference today is that it will be a blueberry muffin instead for chocolate. Life is good.
