    Fuck that. Tell him to do it as you asked.

    Plus 5.29s will be way way better than any headers will get you.

    You want the torque. After you have them then you'll want the power. But it's way better in the dirt with more torque.

    Anyone know if the cv's for our trucks are the same as any 4Runner or FJ's? I'm headed to a pick n pull later and want to grab one or two stock front axles to rob the cv's from and build trail spares with.

    I'm 99% sure all three are the same. 4th generally and later TR4, any FJ and 2nd or 3rd gen Taco.

    That's what I thought, but then looking at dirt king and tc, they have different part numbers for their extended shafts than the Tacoma.

    No they are different 4Runner and Fj have a different number of splines on the shafts
