60+ year old thread.

Hi Sue . I try to keep busy so I don't get in trouble. One of these days I will buy this t-shirt.
But till then, I am keeping busy. I do stop in from time to time to see whats going on in here and the youngster (50's) thread.

Hi to all . Ladies always first. Hope everyone is good. Retirement is good, but some days I wish I was still working . For those still working, TGIF. For those retired, Everyday is Saturday!

 

Nice problem to have Mark. I know you and the staff will find a way to make the program larger.

 

Good morning Ken, I am back from the gym and getting ready to go see the new Deadpool movie this morning.

 

This reminds me of my neighbor. She retired a couple of years ago. The first thing she did was sit in front of the TV for a month or so, catching up on all the stuff she missed when she was working full time.

 

Good morning SUE and gang. Went out looking for native plants yesterday, only the trip organizer and I ended up going. Over a hour drive, we took our doggies, they had a good time. About the time we got close to plants, one or two dogs had to investigate. Some ranching in the valley we went to, late in the day my Repo dog managed to get under a barb wire fence, but when he tried to get back, he must have touched where a electrified fence wire was located and yelped real loud, took off and was bewildered, but I managed to call him back and coax him under a high spot in the fence. He did a Army crawl.
Still wet around here, had a good rain driving out of the woods and had a good rain while I was gone. About a ten hour day with the driving.

Hi Sue, I joined the Spending Kids Inheritance (SKI Club) club along time ago. Retirement is good, but one needs to stay active to keep the old age maladies at bay. Retirement will also give you more Grand Kiddies time

Morning all:
Looks like it's going to be another not so great year of fishing! The local lake is getting stingy on the walleyes, and the river has been too high to fish it properly, anymore rain and I'll soon be able to launch the boat in the yard!
Changed oil and greased the Tacoma, found out the dipstick was stuck and fixed that, found the rattle caused by the heat shield where the 2 bolts came out of and fixed that, good as new! Yesterday I washed the zero turn, it looked like I was mudding with it after the last mowing!

 

Carl: I hope the fishing gets better in June for you and your buddies. I agree too much rain.
