Out of curiosity I checked the battery in my 20 year old Nissan Maxima today at 93.5k miles. Terminals a little corroded and water level slightly low. Purchased that battery on 1/24/14. Cleaned it up and topped the cells. Still as strong as new. Still has another 8 months of warranty on it. That was a 24F Advance Auto Gold battery. You certainly would have thought the 2016 Toyota battery would have outlasted one I bought over 4 years ago.

Wish I had gotten in on the group buy instead of paying full blown retail! :frusty:
Always seem to be a day late or a dollar short. :notsure:
Story of my life. None the less I still consider myself blessed. It can always be better but it can always be worse. Sometimes one should just be happy for what they have! :amen:

Mine still looked new after 13 years on my 2nd gen. That's why I jumped on them as soon as I heard they were a direct fit for the 3rd gens.

Before I bought my 3rd gen I called 2 dealers. One for the 2nd gen nerf part number. One for the 3rd gen nerf part number. Same part numbers for both gens. Opened up the market when shopping for nerfs.

Did the a/c mod today. Also put in some thief deterrent for the bed divider with a metal cable and lock.

When I saw this post I just had to post myself a photo I took the other day when my buddy asked me to come check out his place up in the hills. When I parks and saw these two beauties next to each other I had to take a pic. Then that got me started, I wanted the rims and I definitely liked the way the rear tail lights were, so I had to order both.

They have to take off the pin there and grease it up.

I had to take mine in twice.

Bucking I haven't heard anything about that nor have the issue

I honestly believe since manuals are the minority, toyota doesn't place any priority.

Let us know if they figure out the other issue
