The beauty of switch pros is once you get over the initial install everything else is pretty gravy.

My only advice would be since there's technically 2 "switches" you could potentially be in a situation where you bumped your SP panel and think it's the blue sea, or vice versa. Not the end of the world, but could lead to a "oh goddammit" moment as you're trying to figure out why the circuit isn't live.

I'm saving my high amp for a compressor at this point, as I'm still debating a locker/regear. After my trip to expo I was once again reminded of how annoying the gearing is on 3rd gens.

The motor definitely gets wheezy past a mile up but it's the gearing that has me tearing my hair out. You constantly find yourself unable to keep pace with traffic because your options are scream though a lower gear and accelerate or chug in the next highest gear and lose speed. And to maintain speed the transmission just hunts between scream and bog, scream and bog. It feels weird to throw on the 4 ways and just jam it out in higher RPM at a lower gear/speed but I guess I gotta get used to that.

That or low boost forced induction... I've heard 2TRs run on 5-6 PSI happily on a factory tune but having seen the state of some tuners I would worry that our definitions of "runs fine" differ greatly.

Dang that would suck. We were just up at Mt. Ord a couple weeks ago. The view and weather made the drive worth it. Would hate to see it get burnt.

I finished wiring and just left it alone for now. I can't hunt down problems today and still get my errands finished.

I used a normal switch for my ARB dual. It just engages the relay. The compressor is wired directly to the battery.

Take 188 to 4 peaks and cross over back to the 87? It would be scenic at least. Probably out of the way of the fire...

Yeah 222 would be Mt Ord. I hope everything works out, turning around can be a pain up there. Especially with traffic.

Dang that sucks. Here’s a pic I took a few weeks ago from the top of Mt Ord. Can’t believe it’s burnt now.
