So cool! Can't wait to hear how it goes. Mine came today too. I'm at the cardiologist though right now. Dentist earlier for a crown. And had the truck in for the 15k service. And I need to install and review those Xenon Depot Pro LEDs. It's always busy for me on the weekends. Normal. Sux!

HAHAHAHA yea, you ain't kidding! Naaaa, just routine check based on a wonky ekg. All is good. Thanks. So?! Installed?! I bought some new bits too while I was out. Waiting on some steamed blue crabs now, then home for those, steamed shrimp, corn on the cob and some watermelon. Recorded the Preakness so we can watch it later while we feast. Might do the install later if the rain let's up but it doesn't look good. Tomorrow maybe if it stops. Oh well.

Just got mine in the mail! Thanks @RedlineTuning :D Probably won't get to installing for a week or two since I've got the grille & sliders to work on...but as someone who's shorter w/ a lifted truck, I'm looking forward to not having to awkwardly stretch and reach up to prop my hood up lol

So I installed it today, and Rob, you are one worried man...big fat roll of gorilla tape worked great, then extra wrap at an angle behind the first wrap, cone shaped, behind the first wrap in case it tried to slide down on impact. One word of advice to all, put a lot of tape on your bit, you’ll be fine, but do not try to drill without anything on your bit to stop more than a 1/4” of it as to not allow it to impact right into the hood, because it will, don’t matter if you’re a surgeon. Oh and for the second to last step, where you pop them on, refer to the last step where you pull the collar clamp with a flat head, it’s not in the instruction, I damn near almost ruined my first seating by tapping it with a hammer expecting it to pop in, it won’t. @RedlineTuning, you should really put that in the Instructions, it may come back to bite you. Luckily I fixed and rebent the collar back to shape. 0862A881-9910-4BDE-BF0D-A11EC363588F.jpg 6E61DDB7-4C85-4B7F-9A16-ABB336B9F35B.jpg 3B0F7DA8-3CA7-47C5-9511-DB35D6CD94BC.jpg Here are pics, before and after...
