I remember once on a perfectly nice day our power went out. Someone had wrecked and taken out one of those big green electrical boxes. Took out power for the whole neighborhood.

 

Back when I was in college a car plowed through a power pole near the apartment complex I was living at. Took out power for a few hours while we were trying to study for finals. It was initially stressful, but it was a welcome break once we figured out it was going to be down for a while.

 

Anyone heard of any Memorial Day sales going on for anything Tacoma-related?
