    So I took the truck for a stress test today. The Starbucks line gets pretty crazy as yall know, and before my princess would start to heat up with the ac on in 90+ F weather. Well. Today it was around 97 F and the engine never got above 194, trans moved up to around 185. When driving the trans heats up on inital acceleration, the max I saw was 199, then it would cool back down to the low 180s mid 170s. Also a few miles before getting home I turn my A/C off to prevent moisture in the evaporator core. Engine temp went from 194 back to 185. This is with the stock 180 degree thermostat.

    I am so stoked with this radiator. I 100% recommend getting the weather stripping too. I used the fj shroud with the thicker weather stripping that is linked in this thread (comes with two sizes). It works perfect on the bottom and sides. On the top the lip of the shroud sits a little higher than the rad, so it doesnt seal really. I may add another layer to remedy this.

    I will say I was surprised at the condition of my oem rad. The inner part closer to the fan had a lot of bent fins, and the top seems to be bent in two spots. Seemed pretty strange to me. Glad that hunk of crap is out of there. All I need to do is clean my engine bay as there is coolant everywhere. Things got a little crazy last night you could say.
