Thanks, I think it might be the same guy. I’m looking into it. I’m looking into a scooped hood since my stock non-scooped good has some rough spots on it. I figure if I need to get a new hood I might as well go scooped.

 

Anybody got a tri fold for a 3rd gen short bed? Was hoping to buy an OEM before I go the Amazon route.

 

Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good local paint shop to do small jobs like a hood? What’s a good price to be expecting for a job like this?

Mine might not be in much better condition but I've been thinking of swapping to a non-scoop. I'm the same color though. How bad is the condition on yours? Mine mostly just has a number of rock chips.

 

Mine has no visible spots, but the last time I waxed it six months ago, it had some spots that weren’t smooth to the touch when I hit it with the clay bar. There are a couple of rock chips towards the front of the hood that were there when I bought it with 35k miles, but they’re covered with a bug deflector now. I’d definitely be interested in a swap as long as there isn’t anything major out of place but it sounds like there isn’t. I can send pics if you’re interested.

 

They're probably in similar condition then, I'll be home late tomorrow so I can take some pics of mine after then.
