    I will get satisfactory balance from these goons, even if they have to eat the cost of road force and re-balance. I told them, “Do it this way”, but they resisted and told me it would be an additional $125 so they can “Road test” my truck.

    The dealer wound up taking care of my wheel balance for free after all. I really don't get why they were so resistant to performing the balance job like I requested to begin with. It seems like they got stuck on me producing the TSB that states for them to perform the job with the adapter plate. The service rep and manager both tried telling me that it didn't apply to my truck since it is now lifted and I don't have the "Factory" wheels on it (Even though the wheels are OEM for 2nd gen Tacos and 4th gen T4R).

    It's done, thankfully, and we were able to get it all taken care of without screaming at each other or me contacting Toyota corporate.

    It was a trial there for a little while to get them to understand that. It boggled my mind that they were making an issue of how my truck was setup and that the tech did not want to balance my wheels with the method I requested. Is it that hard to use the adapter plate??
