Yea. It’s not the greatest stuff. Nor does it last long. I can’t even recall the last time i bought something there. But for a one time use, thought it would work.

If you are going to buy a pop rivet gun https://www.amazon.com/Marson-39000-HP-2-Professional-Riveter/dp/B00063Y1F6
    or spendy https://www.amazon.com/Malco-2IN1-H...64262&sr=8-3&keywords=malco+2in1+hand+riveter

The Marson if you look on Ebay find one that is stamped Chelsea Mass it is actually made there , they got bought out and the ones stamped Stoughton Mass are made in Taiwan... There is another made in Germany by Gesipa NT X nice unit seriously pricey have only used their battery ones regularly they worked well but gravity function checked badly at least the batteries did. Gesipa NT X

I have both and OEM Marson and a Taiwan one and though the fit and finish on the Taiwan one is not as nice as the OEM it functions well and you can get parts for them for ever. I gather think you might not use it enough to warrant spending for a quality one and you may be right but it will always work so...

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Marson-HP2...714310?hash=item1ca369f446:g:U2IAAOSwGINanDBv

It is called Harbor Fright for a reason .. Granted some shop supplies are cheap and good enough and maybe a tool or two but that is about it one and done tools is all really. I will say this there are guys that like their tool boxes for cost and ease of incorporating them into custom shops and they have a welding cart "Vulcan" which is pretty damn heavy duty for them.

Was looking at a el cheapo guitar at the truckstop. 175$. I played it a bit, and the first thing I noticed is the tuners were junk and needed to be upgraded. Probably would need a lot of stuff upgraded. Not interested in spending hundreds of dollars on a guitar that is probably 100$ overpriced. I’m still looking for something for the truck. Not interested in taking my PRS, but I did pick it up for about half price so I might pick up another and take whichever I don’t like better with me.

Thanks, I got it all finished up today. I had to lengthen the wiring harness and relocate the safety chains. It's been fun so far now on to the next phase.

I get the cheap stuff for the volunteers that just need to tighten up loose hinges or light covers. I did fill up the tool box for the "Mother's Day Tool Box" there. Brightly colored, easy to replace, keep her put of my tool chest and leaving my screw drivers throughout the house. But yes, a lot of one and done. Anything after that is a bonus.

Picked up a new client today for July and August. That gets me up to 5 places for the summer. This may turn into a decent retirement gig yet.

Manage snowbird properties while they're gone for the summer. Many own lots with some sort of home/modular/trailer plus sheds/carports/garages. Maintain drip systems, water systems, monitor air conditioning systems, physical security checks, show a presence, be unpredictable with times and rounds, etc. Few days a week, 5 to 15 minutes per house per visit.

Dig it! Im hoping to expand my traveling house-sitter gig too. I've house, pet and farm sit since I was a kid. In recent years Ive been asked to come back to a few places that I moved away from. Ive been flown to San Diego for a weeks work. And I leave later this month for New Orleans for 10 days. House, dog, convertible with keys. I can live with that.

I cant watch the whole video right now,but I us3d to run Cali all the time with a 10’2” spread, so I dunno what the problem is there. Maybe something to do with those goofy 53’ steps those guys are running.
I’ve run across those guys before too.. Down in Houston I ran out of hours before I got where I wanted to be, so the truck stop where I stayed is where those guys park for time off. That guy was there. I remember the colts decal on the fender. So these guys meet up down there. There was about 4 of them, and some guy brought a car and they were all hugging and hollering, one guy trying to back in next to my truck, and not accomplishing the job, all the while I was sitting there waiting for them to get done with their horseshit so I could go to bed, then they all piled their shit into the car and took off. 2 guys stayed behind, I guess they were on watch, and in the middle of the night they start organizing chains in the side boxes.. I wound up moving to the other side of the parking lot.. That’s the thing about those guys. They don’t have a clue about respect for others..
    Anyway.
