I checked my brakes today. Almost tapped the lady in front of me. Brakes work just fine. The OEM tires that come on the off road skip a bit on wet roads. I might need to find some in the future with some more grip in the rain.

Cheap would be a blue plastic nylon reinforced tarp. Your cover is very similar to the soft tonneau that I had on my 2011 and it served me quite well until my '11 was totaled last year. I upgraded to a hard trifold on my '17 because I needed the added security for all the gear that I carry afield. Otherwise I would have gotten the same soft tonneau again because I was extremely happy with its performance and durability. Less expensive than a hard tonneau? Yes. Cheapy? Not from my point of view. Keep it clean and you'll be very happy with it. Congratulations on your purchase!:thumbsup:

Pelfreybilt cage and group 31 battery today. Kind of a pain in the behind to install. Barely fit, and not any play in the positive cable. And holy heavy son of a behive Batman!20180520_142159.jpg

Here are some comparisons. One CG is bone stock. The other has a 3” lift up front and 1.5” rear. My magnetic is 2.75” front (5100s and 887s) and stock rear. I have 265s and the modded CG has 285s.

All three look awesome! I have the same setup as yours, 5100’s and 887’s with 265’s in silver sky metallic. Rides really nice.

-Meso etc reinstalled and tapped to cig lighter wiring.
-Cig lighter wiring was repurposednl to 12v to 5v adapter to power my miracast.
-Constant hot from Blue Sea to cig lighter
-Techonish whatever P3 installed with plug and play adapter. Mounted to the right of the steering wheel just below temp sensor.
-Scan Gauge wired up a pillar, through roof, down the rear view mirror
-Rear view mirror wiring changed so constant is not connected. Haven't tested yet but should prevent homelink from working without switched power.
-Routed OBD2 splitter under the dash to my Transmission thingy, Ssp?
-Drilled and painted my cleat to Rocky Mount. Due to my MX4, I can't mount the Rocky Mount because the forks are blocked by the MX4. Trying to use the cleat and steel to drop and extend the mounting point of the Rocky Mount. Still unsure if I like adding functionality at the cost of security.

    To do later this week
-Change power source of Blue Sea from Battery to Switchpros Switch 8. Hopefully will work with voltage drain. 30 Amp limit but I don't really need constant hot very much except for my USB charging.

    Not Tacoma
-Put 5 trailer tires on myself. I will never do that again.

Kudos on the wiring. Not my forte, scares the hell outta me.
Changing tires, and I assume you meant by hand with a tire iron? Been there done that and I'm never EVER going down that road again.
