Me too man! I've also been checking TRDparts4U and they've dropped their S/C from 3950 to 3700. I'm waiting for a good deal so hopefully we get some good news soon!

Glen is a stand up guy and wont do you wrong:thumbsup:

I am still waiting on the next meet at TTC :)

FYI, if anyone in Souteast VA jumps on this and wants to save on the install, I would be more than willing to lend a hand ( including the APR X-1 install if you go that route). I have done my fair share of S/C installs.

    Hey Justin,
You know if the APR X-1 will void the warranty on the S/C?

on the blower itself, probably not.
but it could cause issues on the general powertrain since you swap out the exhaust cam gears.

the nice thing with the X1 is that you can take the blower back off since you dont need the reflash. It all completely bolt on and reversable.

    it all bolt on.

If you have decent wrenching skills, it no big deal. The issue is that you need to get i flashed at the dealer.

I installed mine in 8 hours and that included the APR X1 and lunch.

the dealer charges 6 hours for it per their book.

take your time and follow the instructions and you would have a problem. the hardest part it getting the stock crank bolt out. but the Toyota service tool makes that alot easier if you can get your hands on one.

Hell yeah it worked, it was nasty while I had it. I might have gotten a deal because I bought it through the dealer.

Sorry guys, looks like the S/C group buy is not going to happen. I do have something else to offer though...

I got my S/C for $3426 shipped through eBay and there are plenty out there for similar price!

Take a look at this post and follow the directions exactly
    Read it all carefully
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/deals-coupons/18321-save-ton-ebay.html

TRDParts4U was selling the TRD S/C for $3700.00. The Bing cash back was 8% and this percentage varies from time to time. The maximum cash back for any one purchase was $200.

When you sign into eBay, there will be a link just below the seller's price to sign onto the eBay bucks program. Do this and it will get you another 2% back.

    So, $3700 - $200 Bing Cash Back - $74 eBay Bucks (2%) = $3426 shipped.

When I purchased my S/C I logged in, then did a search through Bing for "TRD Supercharger Ebay". The first result, with the Bing Cash Back note next to it is what you need to click. If you do not see this, make sure you are logged in. It will not show up if you are not logged in.

    ________

    If you did everything right you'll see this on eBay;

Pay with PayPal in a single payment. The Bing cash back will be credited to your PayPal account in 60 days. You'll receive your 2% in eBay bucks in $45 days.

The $200 cash back is money back in your pocket. The eBay bucks is like store credit that you can spend on future eBay purchases.

TRDParts4U has increased the price of the Tacoma S/C to $3800 but the Bing Cash Back and eBay Bucks images were taken today so this offer is still running!

    Good luck!

Updated original post w/ Bing information

By the way, the fact that this group buy won't go through says nothing negative about Totally Twisted Creations. My dealings with Glen and his company have been 100% positive, both for this group buy effort and for my personal purchases. If you're looking for parts/accessories for your truck I'd definitely give him a try!
