Well, now that I’ve driven both. The Pro suspension is a bit smoother on the road, but I’ve not messed with clickers on the Kings yet, so can’t say for sure. The Pro is a sweet setup, so if you don’t want to go through the whole process and like rolling right off the lot, the Pro is good. Just got the truck back, so haven’t taken it off-road yet, but I’m expecting it to perform well.

I also have a 2018 Pro and after about 60 miles on the TRD OR, I would say that the Pro is smoother but also feels softer in day to day driving. I haven't taken either off the pavement yet.

Thx. I have an 18 pro and thinking of lifting either icon , king or bds 6 in with fox. I do not off road except going to creeks and back areas fishing and hiking. Mainly all on hyw and city and a lot of miles and really going for the better looks. But want to keep ride quality as good or better than pro suspension if I lift

I have a ‘17 Pro. I took it off-roading and decided I needed something more. Once they came out with a Cement OR, the decision was made. I felt like I could get more value out of the Pro leaving it mainly stock. Personally, I wouldn’t butcher the Pro. I put 265/75 Toyo M/T’s on mine and that will do what most want to do.

However, it’s your choice. The Pro suspension is dialed in for that truck. I could do speed bumps at 35 mph and it ate them up.

I just wanted something more, but spent a shit ton to do it. I can’t wait to see how it does off-road.

Keep in mind that if you lift it, it’s going handle different than stock.

I say this pretty much every day. Agonized over the long vs short bed.

Shelter was nice. The weather prediction was wrong. No wind, barely any swells. Friday I filled up my stringer with limits of rockfish and lings but Saturday was slow for me. Caught a ton of legal lings but nothing over 30". 3 people hooked up to pac halis and only 1 was landed. You missed out man!

I don't think I will make Albion this year.

Man, I wish I made it, the pics looked killer.
It was that photo of your truck in the campground that gave it away!
Good to see some NCKA in the house!

Thx brutha! It’s the affect that TW has on a person. There’s no going back. I got caught in the vortex. But I freaking love the set up.

Hey, what size tires are you running and did you have to do anything to the rear to fit them?

I’m currently running 295/70/17’s, but swapping for 285/75/17’s tomorrow.

Didn’t necessarily have to do anything special per say, but wanted the Deaver Expedition II’s and Total Chaos recommended doing the rear shock hoop kit with the 2.5” x 10” piggybacks. They said it would be a better set up. I was originally planning to do the OEM replacement with remote resis.

OK, so maybe it was special.
