I hydrolocked one years ago when blew head gasket broke camshaft and shattered several head bolts. Cannot compress water. Get it checked thoroughly. Good luck.

I'm an accountant. All the wiring I learned online just Googling and the specifics I got from TW.

Yeah, tire irons. I knew if would be quicker/easier to take it to a shop but I just had to do it once. I just wish it wasn't on 5 sun baked rock hard trailer tires. But, I did it and learned how and will never do it again.

Tested mine the other day. Prop sick still usable, but just about at max stroke of the lifts. Just squeezes in there. No issues, just tight . Should work fine for you.

That is a beautiful truck. I love the black on blue and the tires/wheel combination.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!

I finally had the opportunity to take a look at the write-ups you did for your electrical mods.

    I swooned.

If there was some sort of technical writing award for TW posters, you'd certainly get my vote.

I have to ask... Did you really take the time to make all those diagrams (and especially the drawings of the harness and connector) or were these copy/pasted from somewhere? If it's the former, you may just be insane (or maybe just have a severe case of OCD, which is pretty much the same thing).

Terrible pic from my office but I finally got the correct feet from CBI for my prinsu toprac. Mounted it back on this weekend. It sits a lot closer to even with the accessrac now. Very pleased. I used 2 of the .5” tall feet in the middle and 4 of the new 1” tall feet at the front/back.

    Thanks! I appreciate it!

    Haha thanks!

I am insane and have OCD. I made all of the wiring diagrams from scratch as I figured out how I wanted to wire everything. I wish they existed online beforehand! If they did, it would have saved me a lot of effort trying to figure out how to do it all since I’m a noob with electrical stuff. I figured I’d make the write-ups to help others. @DSIM made the small one that’s about his harness that he sells and CH4x4 has the small one online about the switch but all of the large diagrams for the front light bar, rock lights, reverse lights, and footwell lights I made myself. :anonymous:

The Michelins on the Limited actually work surprisingly well once loaded up, that initial application causes them to lock though

Is there a really good video or excellent post with lotsa' pictures describing how exactly to apply this material to a Taco door?

I've got a new set of speakers and MIGHT get around to putting them in this coming weekend (considering I'll have 3 days), and I still have some reservations about installing soundproofing. I've seen pics of the entire inside of the door plastered with the stuff, and other pics where certain areas were left clear for accessibility (to replace a window regulator or whatever). I know people have done this, but I'm also leery about applying the material to the inside of the door skins. We've got plenty of road salt and wetness around here, and I wouldn't want that salt water to be lingering inside the doors for any longer than is absolutely necessary.
