South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

No kidding. I don't have the time to clay bar and wax my scat pack. Who wants my money!!

 

What is a wax job? Asking for a friend.. haha

I washed my last truck once every 6 months. And @PvilleJohn would freak out when he would come by and see it haha

 

My issue is that I wasn’t notified or given any options before it was done and then just assumed that it would be ok. My grandmother has said forever that an ounce of prevention is worth ten pounds of cure, so to me it’s a level of service thing. Plus it’s not configured like I ordered and I’m not keen on the dealer installing bed lights and a roof rack, I just in general have trust issues wit dealership mechanics lol.

 

You can say that again. They can’t even install an oil filter back in properly...

 

Then walk. Go buy the truck you want from the people you want. It's that easy. But don't expect the dealership to be apologetic. Probably won't happen. They'll be more than happy to sell that truck to someone else for more money. And they won't have trouble doing it.

The idea that a dealership is gonna jump through hoops and weather people's tantrums and negotiations for an in demand vehicle is naive at best. Especially if you're not willing to wait for exactly what you want.

 

They seem to be making every attempt to correct the issue so I’m not complaining other than that it happened at this point. So far I have nothing but good things to say other than a goof on transport which they’ve said they’d discuss further on the current one or get me another at no additional cost, just time. So we’ll see.

I worked in the car business for most of my life and know the ins and outs better than most.

Just go to the dealership Friday and see what they can do. That simple. If you don’t like it leave and go to another dealership. Like cap said they’re gonna be able to sell the pro no matter what.

 

They made it good to me, still on for Friday!

Yes sir be glad to do it for ya. Message me we can get together on a weekend and make it happen. I honestly like doing it. Time consuming but the end result is worth it.

Lol, close. But enough to make me happy. I was a bit snippy as I found all this out sitting in the hospital as my dad is having heart surgery.

 

I think mine is Beyond the point of clay bar hahahah
