That is the most adorable gas bottle ever. How did you get airgas to certify a 2L Coke bottle haha

 

Honestly, that’s all I could afford at the time. AirGas charged me something like $198 for the bottle and the gas.

 

Ouch, I paid less than that for a full bottle at least thrice its size.

My new Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump should be here on Wednesday, pretty excited to install that and see how it performs. Need to finish meth stuff tomorrow and see about welding some stuff to the new intake pipe, should be fun. Actually now that I think about it I probably need to get my bottle filled again, was getting low last time I used it.

 

That thing needs the TW treatment : blue LED's, plasti-dip, and a snorkel

 

And 5100 with ome coils...

 

Rear end is looking proper dude!

Replaced the Driver's side engine perch, timing belt (etc) and the valve cover gaskets. Replaced the motor oil change and front diff gear oil while I was at it.

 

Did your perch break off?

 

Added some @CBI Offroad Fab frame plates to the rear frame for support. Several fun bits about this project - help from @Digiratus, @Speedytech7, and @drr getting the bedoff. Got to use a sandblaster for the first time, and found out that I can lift the rear of the truck off the ground using the swing-out on the driver side.

Depending on where the jack stands are on the front be careful it doesn't nose dive lol! The rear end is very light

Honestly I think the mount was already broken. It gave as much as it could then it just sheered off.

 

Is your front end on jack stands too? If you do and those are behind the front wheels just be careful because the weight of the engine can make the whole thing tip forward

 

This for sure haha. I could lift my truck up off the rear stands so I put a couple more under my front rails for safety.
